Betty Crocker- My husband would never beat me, how insensitive to think that way. He works away and we barely see each other, your response upsets me greatly.

Could have a bleeding/clotting disorder, or trauma. Do your gums also bleed easily when you brush? I'd definitely get a blood check at a clinic. Don't wait. It may end up as unremembered bumps to your legs, but much better to make sure.

After my second son was born, I did that also.( also breast feed) I'd have huge dark bruises on the back of my legs. (looked terrible) I never really figured out why, but my doctor told me something about more blood flow in the body and simple bumping can cause deep bruises. If it really bothers you check with your doctor. Better safe than sorry.

I agree that it is probably some repetitive thing you do that you don't realize causes bruising. Sometimes hitting the same spot repeatedly but not hard enough to cause pain can cause a bruise.
My husband's aunt had a bruise on her hip for over a year before one day she realized she caught the dishwasher door in the precise same spot every time she opened the doot.

do you carry the baby in a infant seat, are the bruises on the backs of your legs or near your knee where the seat hits as you walk. Do you ever have a feeling of heat in your legs if so talk to your doc cause that could be a sign of blood clotting but I don't think bruising is, could just be that you are bruising easy.

How are you holding the baby while your breast feeding? Is the child's leg or arms by your legs?
Are you pressing your body tight next to a chair while feeding?
Check with your physician as well.

Stroller? That is where mine comes from. I noticed that when ever I pull it out of the car, it hits me in the same spot.

Check with your doctor. Unexplained bruises can signal a problem, such as infection, nutritional deficiencies, or even liver disease.
