in a modern and florishing country like our own, with a government that has control, when is murder justifiable? should anyone get to decide who dies and who lives? these ideas of corporal punishment and abortion seem very relativistic to me. i mean just cuz someone (judge) says its ok to kill person A (criminal) does that make it ok? we know that relativism, the belief that individuals make their own truth, cant possibly be true, yet its employed in our own government. so if we allow killing of our criminals and our unborn, then homocide obviously has no consequence and we should be able to kill whoever we want right?

No murder is justifiable.

The only justifiable way for an ordinary citizen to kill a person is self-defense.

Therefore, the gun law is so difficult to settle.

Do you not see the difference between executing someone who has been convicted of murder or another serious crime, and killing a random person on the street?

Murder will not be justified because it is killing with treachery and pre-meditation which could not be claimed as self-defense.

Someone rapes and kills my child - I can pretty much justify killing them. However it is not legal. Big difference.
