First of all the honey oat bread is whole wheat, I make it every day. Yes ,you should leave off the cheese and mayo. Try the fat free honey mustard or sweet onion nummy. You could do the wrap but since they changed it to the flour tortilla it is not as good.

It's WAY healthier than other fast food options.
Make it a turkey if you are not vegaterian. Extra protein.
If you are trying to loose weight eliminate the cheese and use mustard instead of the lowfat mayo.
Do the BAKED chips if you get a side item.

Forgo the cheese. Fat-free mayo if they have it. Lots of veggies and lean turkey. I have worked at Mc Donald's for a little over a year and I have lost 10 pounds. It doesn't really matter what you eat as long as you are getting enough exercise to counteract the calories. I do try to stay away from the fried foods, but once in a while it is OK.

To make it healthier, change the bread to whole wheat, ditch the cheese and sub vinegar for the mayo. And load up on the veggies.

Use mustard or catchup instead of mayo. Hold the cheese too.
I would pile on the banana peppers cause I think they have a lot of good food value, more so than the lettuce which isn't an unhealthy choice at all.

Doesnt that get expensive? mayo has lots of calories and fat but mustard and ketchup doesnt they just have sodium. american cheese is okay say every other sandwhich and honey oat bread is just a splurge so thats okay every other but mostly get wheat. Oh you could use vinegar and oil too if you like it

I eat a sub that's real similar to that at Subway, except I have 'em load it up with tomatoes and green peppers, because I hear they're the best vegetables for you.

The large amount of bread is just empty calories. Keeping it simple when you diet is important but too much of anything is not. Try to alternate with something else, if you don't like meat, beans, and lentils are awesome for you.
