We just got a 3 month old Macaw, blue and gold, we haven't found out if he is a male or a female yet and will be having this done soon, we are looking for a name that can go either boy or girl but we want a neat name, no goofy names please! He/She is very sweet as he was hand fed.

to go along with this baby brid you have any sweet name would go for either one if it's a boy you could name him pretty boy! mainly if they a very loveable and what makes it even better is the fact it was hand fed.those birds are nice to have they can talk I do belive.
I have a sister that lives in Ca. and this one bird she has he will look in to her mouth and pick with her teeth she calls him her little distiest he's so cute it's a CT. they are yellow gray white with a orange spot by the eye. well I hope you will find a nice name for him or her oh also by there breeks you can tell alot of times the girls breek is lighter then the boys breek is. but with the kind of brid you have you won't be able to tell I don't think.

How about Birdie?? Or maybe another language that still means a bird in English... Like here, we call a bird "langgam" or in another area, they call it "Ibon".... Try researching other languages and see if any of their bird names suit you...
This will be great so you have some sort of history to tell when your friends ask you what your pet's name is, you can tell them where you got the name from and things like that... It'll be a nice conversation starter too if you have visitors at home....
