they're beginning an investigation and im ok with that, but i really feel bad for my ups driver because he is so nice. Will he be fired or will this affect his job?

If they delivered it to your house, they have to get the delievery receipt signed. Sorry. Even you can recognize your own scribble.
Dont worry about your driver. If he is very nice, then he knows his job well. His tracking documentation will bail him out.

Well I would hope the ups driver doesn't get into trouble. I doubt he will lose his job over it though. This sort of thing probably happens from time to time with any delivery service. It may not even be the driver's fault though. Maybe it was delivered and someone stole it from your doorstep? Or perhaps it was never loaded onto the truck that delivers to your address and it was marked as delivered because it should have been on that truck.
