Usually diarrhea, sometimes with blood or mucus in it.

the only symptoms you can psychically see is bloody softer stool.. the only way to be positive is to take in a fecal to your vet and have them do a fecal float.. If your animal has been treated for Giardia within the past 3 weeks be sure to let the vet know so they dont do a Idexx Snap test.. That will just show that the dog has had it. It will come up Positive. Like I said the only way to be sure is to take the fecal sample in.. its really important that you do so you can get you pet started on the proper worming agent.. otherwise it can lead to a serious infection and cost you lots and lots of $$$$$!!!

Things to look for: loss of appetite, lethargy, fever, explosive diarrhea and/or loose/watery stool, bloating, flatulence, and sometimes but not often vomiting

Diarrhea, sometimes that comes and goes.

It can be difficult to diagnose, and sometimes multiple poop samples are needed to find it.
