My boyfriend and i have been dating for almost a year and a half maybe. im 18, and a senior in highschool, and my boyfriend is just a year older than me. this christmas, or rather, afterwards, he wants me to go with him up north to visit his family. i want to, and my mom is excited for me to go (parents divorced), but my dad is still reluctant to let me! im a pretty good kid, do well in school, going to college soon, mature, never gotten in too much trouble..yet, he is barely budging!!! what can i do to let me go?

Its just that i am still under hhis roof, so out of respect i just want his permission.
He doesnt need to pay for a thing either!..
Already tried the yo yo too.
My boyfriend has asked! lol. He is also very respectful, but still. my dads a stubborn one!

fathers they are over protective. maybe if you ask somebody else to your house to come with you maybe your dad will let you go. i know it difficult but you see your father is just looking forward to your future.

you are 18, you can do whatever you want to do!
Its real cool that you want his permission to go. For what reasons though, I am not sure. Do you want him to pay for your trip?
If you just want his ok, great. But you are of legal age now and dont need his permission to go somewhere.
If you want him to change his mind, have your BF talk to him and ask your dad for permission to go with him to visit his parents. most parents will let you go once your boyfriend asks his permission.
