"All the women that's independent, throw ya hands up at me"---- lol

"What is an independent person?" is probably a better question. I do not think that there is a differentiating factor between an independent man or woman.

But an independent person is a free thinker and supporter of themselves. Being independent doesn't imply that one may not rely on others for some type of support. (financial, emotional, etc.)

Independence is a state of mind, in which some is capable of relying on oneself for most but not necessarily all things.

An independent woman is a woman who stands up for what she believes in does things on her own. She doesn't need anyones help because whatever she needs she can do for herself.
