1. Absolute value of magnification >1, concave mirror, convex lens when real image and object closer than screen or when virtual image; <1, convex mirror, concave lens, convex lens when real image and object further than screen.
Upright image: convex mirror, concave lens
2. No. This refers to a real image with a convex lens. When the object is nearer than F, the lens cannot converge the rays on the screen side.
