I hate the fact that my bf spends alot of time playing his video games. there are times when i cant get ahold of him because he's too busy playing. there's times when our plans have ended cuz he's spends too much time on it. i hate thinking that im competing with his damn gaming systems. we actually joke that they are more of a priority than me. am i over exaggerating or is there a real issue here?

He plays video games to escape reality.Your just a booty call sorry.He has a problem and unless he does something about it, you will always have #2 spot right beside Mario and pac- man

I'm really sorry your the g/f that has to put up with the b/f whos vidio addicted and not just th aunt hopefully and maybe he will come to terms with what he's doing. It will take a few years and if you can't be patient for that long for a real b/f then I say good bye

It becomes an addiction.If he recognizes that he's addicted, and it's going to take up his entire life, and he will lose relationships with real people, he might do something about it. If he doesn't see that he's addicted, or doesn't care, you will probably leave him because of neglect.
