It is a very interesting question that you ask. And, not enough serious attention is focused on the problem, in my opinion. The way that I see it: we have the technology to make a solid effort at laying the ground work for extending the human life span and, even reversing the aging process. Human cloning is one key component important to the success of either or both aspects of human life research. However, because of our fears, we humans remain locked into this "birth, life, and death cycle. We can do better.

As I see it, we are the first generation to simply standby and let death overtake us.

If we humans weren't so busy doing little things, we could accomplish great things instead.

If aging and appearance is something you are concerned with, you may want to consider dying young before you learn about the more important things in life so that your youth-like appearance is well preserved.
