I like ridiculous questions, they make the other ones better in comparison.
It's like some people are beautiful because others are ugly or some people are smart because others are dumb.
If everybody was beautiful, smart and asking interesting questions, this world would be so boring because nobody would be beautiful and smart, just normal.

It is just a question and I get 2 points. Sometimes you need to get those questions. It kind of relaxes me because I can give ridiculous answers like 5 + crow = donkey. :)

You are over thinking the whole "Yahoo Answers" experience.
Instead of thinking of it as a place to share ideas, think of it as the monkey pen at the zoo. Kinda fun, but the crap starts piling up.
Take it for what it is, and try to dodge the flying monkey poo.
