Mine was the day I found out my best friend passed away. Everytime I think of that day, I feel the pain like it just happened yesterday. It was 3.5 years ago.

The day I received a phone call from the other side of USA when my brother was in coma, mom flew there (I stayed with grandparents because I had school, I was 13). For 25 years, my brother is never the same. He is a Head-Injured Veteran. He served only 2 years in Navy on US Jason ship.

2 months later my grandpa died. Difficult year for a 13 year old.

Oh, yeah- scene: early '60's, dark night w/ pounding rain, approaching mid-span on a 3-lane bridge in a VW bug, when a Ford approaching hit a metal expansion joint and lost traction, sending him in a complete spin- first his front end hit guard rail on my side just ahead of me, and he spun about, passing me to left, facing in the direction he had come, kept spinning past me just before his rear end hit a bridge member just behind me with an expensive-sounding crunch. I was the only other car on the bridge..

The night before I left Missouri, I sat up all night and cried. I never seen my best friends again until some of them found me on the Internet and invited me to our class reunion. I hadn't seen them in 25 years, I was so scared! I went and it was a great, fun night.

A car accident when I was 5 years old. I remembered every detail what was said, every injury and how they occurred. The rest of my older family members could not remember anything.

My Daddy crying when his Daddy died; it's been more than 45 years.

Children don't often see the emotions their parents feel for their parents from when they were children. Seeing that kind of let me see my Daddy as a child and how much he had loved his Daddy.
