I encourage you to get to the Doctor as soon as possible. They will guide you on how to best look after the health of you and your growing baby and reassure you that everything is on track. In Australia, we are encouraged to have an ultrasound at about 12 or 13 weeks to test for the probability of Downs Syndrome. Buy or borrow a book which lets you know what is happening at different stages of the pregnancy. If you are well informed and have regular check ups you will probably be less scared. All the best.

You need to get to the Dr. immediately. There are tests they need to do, you need to get on pre-natal vitamins. Do you know what foods you should avoid, such as shellfish, some cheeses and other un-pastuerized foods among others? Do you know what medications to avoid, such as ibuprofren, aspirin, many antibiotics and painkillers and cold medicines among many others? Do you know what vitamin deficiencies you may have? Do you know what activities to avoid? The early stages of pregnancy are very important. Just because you don't have bleeding or spotting doesn't mean "nothing is wrong."
It's very irresponsible not to go to the Dr. You are probably not going to get your Dr. appt by Monday. It could be a month or more away. A first OB is usually scheduled pretty far ahead, which is why you need to call as soon as you find out you're pregnant. I don't understand how you could let your own fear come before your child. Please get to the Dr. as soon as you can. If the Dr. you call has no appts, call another. There is no trying when it comes to your kids. There is only doing.

Definately get an appointment scheduled right away. Depending on the office they may be booked up for a couple weeks so you won't be able to get in right away. And at this point you will only be going in every 4 weeks. Don't be scared of the doctor they are there to help. The first appointment will also be a long one so make sure to allow plenty of time. There will be lots of paperwork to fill out.

i didnt get a doctor till i was 5 months pregnant cuz my medicaid was holding out on me and i was scared shitless cuz i hate needles and doctors with a passion but its a fear youre going to have to get over. get the appt. soon. you'll get used to it all once you go enough. i never thought i'd say i got used to needles (a little better). the only thing u should be worried about if something goes wrong is heavy spotting or extremely painful cramping at the same time. Just dont overdo anything and get a lot of rest as boring as it can get sometimes. you need to get 2 a doc tho.

Scared about what? The scary part is not having a doctor! Good luck getting in by Monday--these places are usually a bit busy. Don't wait any longer!

Well, you do need to make a doctors appointment. Making a doctors appointment is needed. Its good that you are going to make one. The Doctors appointment might be scary but in the end of most of your doctors appointments you will have a bundle of joy. Your baby is the bundle of joy I am talking about.

It relies upon on the healthcare professional and in specific situations your coverage. Its constantly super to get an ultrasound to make helpful issues are reassuring. whether you don't get one, you will get to pay attention your infant's heartbeat and thats somewhat a tear jerker. maximum phyisicians supply ultrasounds at 20 weeks. good luck and congrats.
