no they don't hibernate but they are nocturnal and will sleep most of the day.

Yes they can. If the temperature in your house drops too low they can go in to a type of hibernation. This is bad because they will not eat or drink during this hibernation and if you don't act quickly they will dehydrate and die.

No hamsters do not hibernate, they do however sleep during the day and play during the night.
