Simple. If that '85 Bear team was so great, they would have not only gone to more than ONE Super Bowl, they would have won more than ONE Super Bowl...and that was in a time when a team did not have to worry much about "league parity" and free agency ripping apart a good team.

They are very different teams. Sweetness was great, but Brady and Moss/Welker are in that league.
Fridge vs. Vrabel at the goal line is a draw, mostly because the league has caught up in size to Perry.
And who thinks that Belichick couldn't get inside McMahon's thick skull?
I think the 85 bears are the best team of all time. Until this year.
Pats all the way, except they could never beat the video "The SuperBowl Shuffle".

Da Bears!!!! The Patriots will finish with a better record, but that 85 Bears team, particularly the defense, was awesome.
Good question & kinda hard to answer. You should get a lot of interesting answers on this one.
