Set each problem up like this:

3,000,000
0060,000
0000001
__________
3,060,001

Now you can do the next one:

8,000,000
0 300,000
0002,000
0000 600
00000 50
___________

???????

Don't pay any attention to those zeroes art the left of the numbers--I had to put them there to keep the right margin, which is the imprtant one here, straight.

Another way to do it is simply to read the numbers as words: three million, sixty thousand one. The second problem wll be a LITTLE more complicated that way, but not really harder.

Go for it!

The answer to the first problem I believe is 63,001, because one is a whole number. The second problem is 8,302,650. Good Luck!!!

Unless you mistyped the first one and it's 3,000,000 not 3,000.000. Then it would be 3,060,001
