we're not talking about getting an erection while he's seeing the ex are we...cause thats not a bad thing...
Maybe he needs to let go of her still on another deeper level. Perhaps you could ask him whether there is anything sexually hes not told you about him, like desired, fantasies etc...he might be holding back for some reason.
I dont think viagra is the answer....resolution will come in his mind/feelings

I'm just guessing, but I'm guessing your boy friend is still young enough to get hard. Not being able to get and maintain an erection is 90% mental (unless there's a medical problem, or he's had to much to drink).
Question for you, is the erection problem before or after he sees her. If it's before, he's just stressed out. If it's after, most guys need some recovery time prior to performing again.

Sex is just as emotional as it is physical. A divorce is an emotionally traumatic thing, even if its what he wanted. I seriously doubt its because he still has feelings for her. I think it has to do with the emotional roller coaster that is a divorce. Give him time and don't push the issue. If it takes a long time, maybe he can get some counseling.

Maybe it's because his wee wee is spent. If he needs to go shower right after visiting her, gets cologne on before going to her place. Buys and wears special briefs, takes extra time grooming, etc. You may have a problem that Viagra can't fix. Be aware.

I agree with Julie. He's probably so tense and upset because of her he can't perform. She could have been one of those ex-wives that humiliate and emasculate him. Poor guy. Try a little mini vacation or something romantic and sexy at home.

Isn't it a good thing he isn't getting an erection when he has to see his ex-wife?

I say move on. He is not ready for a sexual relationship or he would be able to get an erection. Just my opinion....

If he would send his ex-wife home when he is trying to have with you he wouldn't have to see her, while she watches. Have him try putting on a blind-fold, so he can't see her. That might help.
