Does anyone know what are the charges for those girl who beat up the 16 years old??? Cause I heard something on tv that the only thing that's gonna happen to them is home arrest, that they can only go to school and can't have any access to internet (myspace, youtube). I'm not sure about that (that they gonna be only home arrested), but Im really mad about it, because I thought that the law was gonna be a little bit tough on this case! I think they should be in jail, all of them! OMG, their bail was set by the judge in 30,000 dollars, it should be at least 250,000 so they would stay there for a really really long time 'til their parents work their asses and get the money LOL, and TORI should sue them for millions of dollars, that way it will be a little bit well paid, but that poor girl will never never never be the same she was before! Get well soon TORI, america's supporting u!

Yeah all doctors have to work with cadavers in order to learn anatomy. I don't think they can be kids, at least at my school they were all well over 18, and they had to sign a consent form. They have to know that their body will be used for that purpose so ethically, and perhaps legally, there wouldn't be kids. Pediatricians usually don't know (well sometimes I guess) that they will be pediatricians, you decide your specialty at the end of four years, Gross Anat is year one.

Yes! All medical students have to work on cadavers. Aspiring doctors usually enjoy learning about the human body up close and personal. If they are uncomfortable with cadavers and are squeamish around blood, they become pharmacists. :-)

I believe that all doctors have to work with cadavers in medical school. It's how they learn anatomy first hand...

Yes. Everyone who wants to get an MD (and that included pediatricians) has to pass what is known as 'gross anatomy' (gross as in comprehensive, not disgusting) class, which includes working with cadavers.

gorgonam is correct, all medical students work with human cadavars.
They do indeed sometimes work with deceased children. They participate in the autopsy and in the other post-death care.
It's sad but, people (even children) sometimes die.

Yeah, it's so you can learn about the body, by looking at a real body.
