This is what you do:

Ask your boss why your Internet doesn't work. If s/he says it's interfearing with work and it was disconnected, then explain why you need it. If you don't need it for work, then you have no complaint. The Internet is a tool for work, not a privilage that is required to be given by your employer. It cost them money for the Internet, and it costs them money (non-productive time) when people use it for personal gain or pleasure.

Usually when a company blocks Internet access, they do that with settings in the companies firewall. There are ways to get around a firewall by using a proxy server (that is a special web site that bypasses the company's firewall) However doing will leave your computer (and all others on the company's network) open to viruses, spyware and being hacked.

Ir caught doing that, you could not only be fired, but possibly facing criminal charges, as use of a proxy server like that can be considered "hacking".

As a system administrator, I can guarantee that the company's firewall is set to detect attempts to get around the firewall, and report who is doing it. Usually takes less then five minutes to have all the "proof" needed to fire someone for doing it.

If you want your job, forget about trying to "hack" the firewall, and do your work. Do your surfing on your own time at home.

You stated your working device, even though it could have helped us greater in case you advised us what form of mouse you're utilising. So i visit assume you're utilising a usual form of mouse that has the tiny little ball on the backside. in case you have the single that constantly emits a pink mild from below, then you definately are utilising an optical mouse, and my first suggestion of what your situation ought to be does not be conscious to an optical mouse. So earlier you pass changing your mouse, and if it is the single with the little ball on the backside of it, i want to recommend which you are trying removing the disguise that holds the ball in (it is going to twist out) and sparkling any airborne dirt and dust or residue that has amassed on the rollers, and wheels that the ball comes into touch with. as quickly as you have thoroughly wiped sparkling those rollers, and wheels and replaced the ball, provide your mouse yet another try. If the comparable situation persists then that's extremely in all probability the twine that connects your mouse to the laptop, and could get replaced. If that's the comparable pointing gadget that got here with the laptop, then it in all probability isn't an incredibly costly one. you may in all probability discover a alternative for it for around $5. even though it does no longer suprise me in case you have already got yet another mouse caught in a drawer someplace, so try substituting the mouse with yet another one, and spot if the concern is going away. If yet another mouse provides the appropriate comparable indicators then you definately would ought to get your laptop serviced via a technician.

Visit yahoo on your personal PC; ON YOUR TIME.

Smart people keep their employment.
