I don't it's is just a fun holiday that lots of people celebrate, why does everything have to go back to Religion, maybe i just wnat to have fun.

I do, it is a religous holiday, I am a christian, and I celebrate the gift of Christ......

Well it's a Christian holiday to celebrate the birth of Christ...thus the prominent use of the name CHRISTmas in the name.

It's cool, everyone can celebrate in their own way, but the bottom line is it's a huge Christian holiday.

Yes, there were other religions that celebrated holidays in the winter and yes, the Christian church did decide to put their holiday at the same time to convert those people. But it's still a religious holiday.

At least in America, there would be no Christmas without the celebration of Jesus' Birthday, Get out your Bible and read the story of Christmas in the Gospel of Luke, it is great reading. And it is the Truth.

I definitely count it as a religious holiday. It's the day, according to Christian tradition, that Jesus was born...can't get more religious than that to me.
