It is important to note that they may not have known the full extent to what that information was needed for. Yes, Yahoo has made many press releases out of this bad situation and I think that they are making the best out of whatever they can. Granted, I imagine there are going to be U.S. laws in place soon to stop something like this from occurring again, but at least from the situation that exists Yahoo has done all that they can to make it better. They have released press statements apologizing, probably given testimony to authorities, there is little else to be done on the companies side. They arent an authoritative organization.

hahahahaha ( LOL ) You must no this will be deleted , but just for the sake of asking what did yahoo do to help in this journalist imprisoned and be careful not to slander or defame any ones character
