hi, im an 18 year old. i've never had "sex" and never been on any type of birth control. my boyfriend fingered me last week, and the next day i had this wierd BLACK vaginal discharge, and it is still coming. it doesnt have a fishy odor, but it is slimey/watery in its texture (gross i know). this is grossing me out, i don't think its regular vaginal spotting. but im very scared, what could this be? ive never had SEX! and no birth contol. HELP!!!

It sounds like old blood - which can turn a very dark almost completely black color. He could have scraped you on your cervix which is very vascular and can bleed easily. Or he may have loosened up some old period blood that hadn't been completely expressed from your body after your last period - the vaginal walls are a bit convoluted so there may be a little "pocket" in there that was holding the blood for awhile and that's why it got so black.
You don't mention how heavy this discharge is. If it is just enough to stain a liner then I would wait a couple of days and see how you feel. If it stops and you don't develop any other symptoms or fever then just remember to mention it at your next GYN appointment. However, if the discharge is so much that you are filling pads - then you really need to see your doctor right away.

Okay, I had this a few times. Basically, it is old period blood, no reason to worry. However, if it doesn't go away within the time your normal period would go away (ie: 7 days or so), talk to your GYN. If you don't have one, now would be a good time to get one (and a good excuse to tell your mom why you need one). While you're there, ask about birth control, you may need it sooner than you plan (also personal experience :)

It could be old blood. Did he have short fingernails? He could easily have scratched something raw inside which would be bleeding a bit.
You're not pregnant--can't be from just fingering. Stay calm. If your school has a nurse on duty, go and ask her, OR call the Planned Parenthood line and ask to speak to a nurse over there, they answer all sorts of questions.

Go to your doctor. While vaginal discharges are normal, black discharges are not. Is it the right time for your period? If not, or your not sure, either way, call your doctor tomorrow. You must get this looked at by a professional.

I don't think I have ever heard of black discharge. Are you sure that is just not a really dark reddish brown. If it is then it is probaly just some discharge from what you and your bf did. But don't take my word for it, talk to a dr to make sure.

old blood sitting in ther uterus can sometimes turn very dark, but dont be afraid to go to the doctor and get it checked out, thats what they get paid to do. lol
