I procrastinate and I tend to avoid the attendance of problems and issues that need to be addressed.
What is the cure for this disorder? Got any quotes or something?

I procrastinate sometimes with tests and projects but I think its getting better be cause I just say to my, just get it over and done with. Here are some quotes I liked:
"If and When were planted, and Nothing grew." Author Unknown.

“You may delay, but time will not.” Benjamin Franklin

“In a moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing to do. The worst thing you can do is nothing.”
Theodore Roosevelt

"Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday."
Don Marquis

"You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step."
Martin Luther King, Jr.

Part of it may just be the way you are but if you think it's something worth changing then try a few different things until something works. I tend to be the opposite. I am very conscientious so these may not work for you. I use to do lists, calendars and appointments. My entire week is mapped out with tasks. This may sound silly but I find that if I have it on my list/calendar, it gets done. I cannot stand to see tasks that I have not completed.

Everyone is different but you have something that makes you tick. Figure out what it is and use it to shape your behavior.

I am sorry to say this, because I have a hard time with this myself, but you just have to make those things a priority in your life for them to be accomplished. It is often a symptom of depression, especially if you used to enjoy doing the thing you're procrastinating. Good luck, we all need help to not procrastinate!

nip in in the bud and like the Nike commercial, JUST DO IT! I have grown to be the same way... I procrastinate about getting out the door to get my kids to school, to go to bed, to wake up my littlest daughter...ect. I procrastinate on going to the bathroom!! wierd, huh?? Well, the trick to that is to do the hard stuff first and rest seems like a piece of cake! Good luck!
