Absolutely we do! You change every day, learn a little, and mature a little also. Through the years you start to apply all that you have learned, and ultimately make decisions that are influenced by what you have learned or watched. That is why later in life we should be able to sustain jobs or get a higher education to make our lives easier. We go through physical changes (most in our teens), and then we molt out of that into adults, and most of us when we hit our twenties, should go through a massive mental mind change (called maturing), then most of us go out on our own some of us in our rather early/late teens to start on our own lives like college, or some people do not like their home lives. Some of us get married, then some of us have kids (me not included), both of those are definite life changing experiences, adding a wife and a mortgage to my life was a definite path to change and maturity, it made me know what my responsibilities are. Good ramble eh?

We can change only what we truly want to change.
We can learn only if we want to
When will we learn, as soon as we get tired of torturing ourselves with the same old mistakes.
It's not easy or quick, but it is possible!
