I chatted with a guy that claimed to have played in a couple of movies but he also said he worked at Little Caesars so I think he was just doped up! which means he very well could have been a Hollywood star! lol

Whenever I went to sci fi/fantasy/horror genre conventions, I generally ended up getting to talk to a number of the guests for much longer than five minutes. I'm not sure what you have in mind for "Hollywood star", but they are actors and actresses who are well-known.
I've also been lucky enough to meet a number of authors and artists and was able to spend some time chatting about their works and the creative process.
I also have been honored to spend time talking with an amazing film director~Martin Ritt, who was hosting a film perspective while I was in college.
I've never met anyone who acted snobbish. A friend of mine once had the featured guest at the convention ask to join her for lunch. His mother had just died, and she had spoken to him about it, saying that she had received word of it. So, remember: They're people, just like their public. Most of them don't go on the "star trip".

When I was in Columbus, Ohio, taking my dog to a vet specialist, I had to leave her for a few hours so we went to a park.
While there, several people were there that we spoke with. When we walked away, my wife commented that one of the guys looked liked one of the members of N-Sync. When we got home, I looked at one of the posters on my daughter's bedroom wall... sure enough! Also, I later found out that the group was playing in Columbus that night.
Just goes to prove that even famous people are human after all!!! (Well, maybe not politicians)

Actually yes. I've had intellectual conversations with Michael Jordan and Halle Berry. The most intellectual conversation I've ever had was with an actor named Clancy Brown who starred in Shoot to Kill with Tom Berenger, and most recently was the voice of Lex Luthor in the Justice League cartoons.

I got to chat with Faith Hill and I also got my picture taken with her. She was very pleasant not only to look at but also to talk with.

I did, I talked to John Heder, and he offered me and my firends a trip to subway, I swear this is the truth. He was acting for school for scoundrels, and they came to film in my neighborhood. It was fun.
