They should be more concerned about Iran obtaining nukes -- one nuke is going to do a lot more in 5 minutes, than Global Warming will in the next 100 years.

To answer your question;

I guess its because the current NIE report says Iran would be able to achieve a nuclear bomb about the same time Al Gore predicted the end of the world in 2012, a nuclear bomb only destroys a city.

i'm in contact approximately international warming because of the fact the clinical info is overwhelming that people are accelerating it and this might carry approximately catastrophic climate replace if we don't sluggish it down. that does no longer advise i'm advocating that actual everyone turn off their A/C in the time of the summer season. In some places people choose the A/C. I go away my thermostat at 80 one levels F, this is enormously intense. i urge others to do the comparable and take different action to cut back their greenhouse gasoline emissions, for this reason I prepare what I carry forth. in line with possibility you need to attempt listening to what's somewhat being preached and being much less closed-minded.

Well, as far as global warming is concerned, I'M NO LIBERAL...FAR FROM IT. We have had a negative impact on our planet. Heck we got billions more people than 20 years ago.

Guess you didn't hear that Iran dismantled its nuclear program four years ago.

So now the big threat is global warming. And even if it isn't solely caused by human activity, can we admit that humans are exacerbating the problem? I don't even have children, but I truly would like this planet to last for another couple million years or so, thank you very much.

...the "mommy fix" party (Dummycrats) always will jump on a cause... it's their goal to have government be our parents and try to "fix" anything for us, after "they" raise out taxes to pay for it... Like "mommy" Hillary with her "it takes a Village crap"... My children were raised in "my" house, not in the "village of the Dummycrats"... and they are doing very very well...in celebration of the Global warming fiasco... I think I'll burn some tractor tires tonight and let the freon out of the old freezer in the basement... maybe toss some of the neighbors used pampers on the fire just to give it some real meaning...

I agree with you. Global warming is a cyclical event. The cycle is every 1500 years. To think that we could have caused it or can stop it is arrogant.

On the other hand, nukes are as real and serious as a heart attack. And, nukes are man made. Global warming is NOT.

I am not worried about global warming. Why? Because I live on a big freaking hill and when we have our flood I am going to own an Island. I am also armed and I'll shoot the first con who comes to claim my island with imminent domain because his beach side condo is underwater. Then I'll own a yacht too. So don't worry. I am on your side. I totally support global warming and I hope we flood soon because I can't wait to have my own beach.

Could you guys please trash the planet faster? If it will help I'll vote republican.

Because you and your coWboy friend aren't. And what makes you think we aren't concerned about Iran obtaining nukes? Most libs can do more than one thing at a time, contrary to the abilities of religious right conserv nuts . . .

It's a big diversion - they've been predicting doom and gloom on the Iraq war for a long time and even the most liberal of the democrats now are beginning to realize that they've been cheering from the wrong sidelines - so rather than eat crow, they change the topic.
Iraq, apparently, is old news - global warming is the hot button issue now - and if that turns out to be bogus, they'll find another topic to harp on.
