Probably because they are different versions of Powerpoint.

It may caused by different PowerPoint versions. One way to solve this problem: convert your powerpiont to video, then you can play your powerpoint video on any computer. you can also burn your powerpoint to dvd, and play powerpoint on TV with dvd player. the benifit of doing this is that you don't have to worry about powerpoint version conflict.
