Hey Robert T., McFadden is a Junior .First runner-up last year to Troy Smith as a Sophmore..( I think i would know because i live in Fayetteville.
ANd for anyone who thinks Colt Brennan will win is a obviously wrong.

Tebow has accomplished what no other player in the history of the game has accomplished. Plus, he is a Gator from the SEC which means he is in the toughest conference in the NCAA. To accomplish what he did in the SEC should make him the clear choice for the Heisman. Just think, if he was in the Big Ten, he would have had 40 rushing tds and 40 passing tds.

Sophomore or not, Tebow had the better year. There were no games that Tebow decided to basically not show up, which McFadden (for as talented as he is) cannot say.
Tebow's stats by game are pretty impressive:
Western Kentucky - Pass: 13-17, 300 yds, 3 TD; Rush : 8-38, 1 TD
Troy - Pass: 18-25, 236 yds, 3 TD; Rush : 17-93, 2 TD
Tennessee - Pass: 14-19, 299 yds, 2 TD, 1 int; Rush : 18-61, 2 TD
Mississippi - Pass: 20-34, 261 yds, 2 TD; Rush: 27-166, 2 TD
Auburn - Pass: 20-27, 201 yds, 1 TD, 1 int; Rush: 19-75, 1 TD
LSU - Pass: 12-26, 158 yds, 2 TD, 1 int; Rush: 16-67, 1 TD
Kentucky - Pass: 18-26, 256 yds, 4 TD; Rush: 20-78, 1 TD
Georgia- Pass: 14-22, 236 yds, 1 TD; Rush: 13-(-15), 2 TD
Vanderbilt - Pass: 22-27, 281 yds, 3 TD, 1 int; Rush: 6-35, 2 TD
South Carolina - Pass: 22-32, 304 yds, 2 TD, 1 int; Rush: 26-120, 5 TD
Florida Atlantic - Pass: 25-34, 338 yds, 3 TD, 1 int; Rush: 11-31, 1 TD
Florida State - Pass: 19-28, 262 yds, 3 TD; Rush: 13-89, 2 TD
Overall
Passing: 217-317, 3132 yds, 29 TD, 6 int
Rushing: 194 rushes for 838 yds, 22 TD
McFadden is only 4th amongst running backs in the country, with 1725 yards and only 15 TD. Kevin Smith from Central Florida has over 700 more yards and 14 more TD.
To me, if this is the choice, there is no choice. Tebow deserves the Heisman.

It will be McFadden. First thing when was the last time a Soph won the heisman? Second McFadden shows up in the big games that are on TV which seems to count for something. McFadden being a senior gives him the edge. Dont say the class they are in makes a diffrence becuase it does. The only reason Adrian Peterson didnt win the heisman when he was a freshman is becuase he was a freshman. The Heisman isnt really given to the best player in college football thats just the way it is. So McFadden or Colt Brennan wins it.

Darren McFadden will win because he's been in the running for a couple of years, and Tim Tebow is just a sophomore. If Colt Brennan played like he does in a tougher conference he would be hands down the heisman winner.

Tim Tebow with no debate because when you get 20 throwing touchdowns and 20 rushing touchdowns youalready created a legacy, but I still don't know why Kevin Smith should mentioned because if is because strength of schedule why is Colt Brennan up there, because Kevin Smith ran for 2,400 something yards and is about break the great Barry Sanders record so if the finalist weren't already picked it might of went to him but since the NCAA is stupid Tim Tebow will win, no doubt.

I'd say Dennis Dixon, but hes not in it so Colt Brennan. He has teh only undefeated team and holds almost every record for a passing.
