Anyways I hit a curb very hard and managed to bend my lower control arm on the passenger side. Incredibly idiotic, I know. Anyways, im currently trying to replace the control arm, but ive run into a bit of a dillema. I noticed that the openings the bushings go into stretched out (up and down wise) as the control arm was forced to bend downward.

I was wondering if it would be still possible to replace the control arm, or if there was some way to straiten out the inlets. Thanks in advance, below is a diagram explanation of my problem. Am I royally screwed or can i salvage this?

A body shop will be the ONLY place that can safely repair the control arm openings(unless you have the high-power hydraulic presses they have). As far as the control arm goes, once they're bent, they're toast. Sorry about that.

if you hit the curb hard enough to bend the arm I highly recommend replacing arm. metal may be fatigured and fail in the future. also make sure to get an alignment
