Chill out w/ some Eric Johnson (instrumental jazz electric gutiarist). His song, "Soulful Terrain" is excellent! Going back to the 70s, "Voices In My Head" by The Police is another interesting semi-instrumental piece, written by Sting.

Very rarely do I have in my world-famous personal record collection two albums by the same group, where I like EVERY song. But I own by The Tubes "The Completion Backward Principle" and "Outside Inside"--which I highly recommend.

Judas Priest may be Gods of Metal--but Ronnie James Dio is the Godfather of Metal; kick out the metal jams with "Holy Diver" and "Rainbow In The Dark" ( an "inside joke" referencing the band, Rainbow--once fronted by Dio).

Like your Rock Southern Fried? Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Gimme Back My Bullets" and Molly Hatchet's "Few And Far Between" and "The Rambler" hit home. Hatchet's early albums (featuring original frontman Danny Joe Baker) covered on target some vintage Greg Allman bluesy works.

And if you really REALLY want to check out some rare vintage 70s rock--"Martian Boogie" by Brownsville Station.

Finally, snub a finger (you know which one) against Political Correctness!! Comedian Denis Leary, back in 1992, did a song from his "No Cure For Cancer" tour titled "Voices In My Head" and "The A$$hole Song" (altered to respect censorship...or protest it).

My favorite band is Envy on the Coast. their song Sugar Skulls is awesome! Other than that, I like A Day to Remember, Kate Nash, Thrice, Saosin. Basically any songs by those bands are good.
