What is a neoconservative? And how does that differ from a conservative and a liberal?

In terms of details, just the basssics..im a youngie! lol..but im thinking of doing Government and Politics, so i thought i'd just get to know what they mean?
So like for example, from what im seeing...Liberals support free-thought and are seriously against wars and are basically social democrats right?...Conservatives want some control..or am I wrong there? :D..thannks!

Conservatives tend to favor small government, minimal federal intervention, states' rights, fiscal responsibility, and strict interpretation of the Constitution. Think Ron Paul.

Liberals have many breeds. Far-left liberals border on socialism. Some are feminist. Others are actually more moderate. Some are actually conservative (think of all the young "liberal" people who support Ron Paul). Some liberals don't like to call themselves liberal because there are really so many different views within the "ideology."

neoconservative is a BS phrase made up by liberal democrats. They even went as far as to put it in wikipedia the farce encyclopedia where anyone can edit information on that propaganda site. But Neo=new. liberal is a broad definition of many mind sets. Liberalism, at least true liberalism is a working for change to put it simply. Conservative is traditional thinkers, believe in small government (regardless of what libby chi guy wants you to believe) and self reliance.
To add Bush is a republican/liberal...big government, big spending. He is not a conservative by any means.
