I think that most people expect the guy to be more sexual in the relationship but it can go either way. Society makes men out to be sex freaks and that is probably why most people expect men to want sex all the time. There are girls who think about sex a lot too and who desire the more physical part of a relationship more then the other parts. But then again what is "normal" anyways.... every relationship is different and all people are different. I don't think its a problem unless the girl is frustrated because her man isn't interested.. then there might be a deeper issue that needs to be addressed.

It's possible. Any notion that females are less sexual or are somehow a weaker, more passive gender has been decisively disproven. When unequal drives manifest themselves within a relationship it's incumbent on that couple to lovingly establish a balance they can live with. This is one of the unique challenges of being in a committed relationship...somewhat difficult to accomplish, but well worth the effort once it's done. Good luck to you.

Someone once said to me..."Normal is only a setting on a washing machine".
Is it common?, more than we think. Especially with the emergence of the empowered females of generations x,y, and the millennial.

Yes, women have sex drives that can be equal to or more than a guys. There's just a lot of social pressure on girls not to talk about sex or masturbating because then they can be labeled as slutty.

Yes its normal. What you can do if you feel wierd about it is find ways to lead him to initiate sex. Like, wear something revealing, not naked, just enough to catch his eye and walk around like you are totally oblivious to his looking. Now and then peep over your shoulder with a come get me look. He'll initiate. Then it wont be just you.
