Snow White

If I had a quarter
I would throw it in a well
I'd wish with eyes closed tightly
Just to breathe in your sweet smell
I lay on gravel sidewalks
Watching people shuffle by
Waiting for the moment
When you'll crouch down where I lie
Take my hands into yours
And than dance away the years
The year's i've been without you
And be done with all my tears
You are my Prince Charming
And i know someday you'll come
You'll slay the wicked dragons
Hold me close untill i'm numb
Darling, i'm your princess
But you've kept me far too long
Please come soon and kiss me
And i'll sing you this love song.

I liked it so much that I wrote this as a response. I hope you enjoy it. I call it:

Snow White, the Sleeping Beauty.

You are my sleeping beauty,
Upon your bed so white.
I knew I must be getting near,
The glow was very bright.
For ages through this land so big,
I've searched for one so fair.
At last I've finally found you,
I see you laying there.
There's not a breath within you,
No heartbeat can I feel.
As disappointment grabs me,
I spin round on my heel.
For way too long I've quested,
Too long I've searched for this.
I just can't seem to shake it,
I must take just one kiss.
My lips touch yours and cold they're not,
They feel they are on fire.
The rush of warmth flows through me.
Hot as a funeral pyre.
Your eyes are open and alive,
You kiss me but don't speak.
I know then that you are the one.
I took the quest to seek.
You'll be my princess, come with me,
We'll soon be man and wife.
And live together til the end,
Of this great quest called life.

that was hot stuff, thanks for the sensuous indulgence, I consider myself somewhat of a hopeless romantic, I think I'd like to be someones Prince Charming one day, great poem and a star from me ;)
