You probably are not going to find a good microscope for less than 37 dollars. Depending on where you are, find a business that sells microscopes and ask them if they have any used microscopes that they have taken as trade-ins. They may be able to cut you a good deal. In the midwestern United States, get in contact with CynMar. No, I have no interest in the company, but I have done business with them.
