My dad has this idea that the Giants can beat the Patriots.
Now I'm a Giants fan but I give them a very slight chance they can beat the Patriots.

Here are my dad's reasons:
1. The Giants are physical and can put pressure
-The top DE tandem is Strahan and Umenyiora, not to mention Kiwanuka is deadly on a blitz
-Look at team's who managed to put pressure on Brady; Colts for 3 quarters, Eagles and the Ravens.
-The Colts were winning 20-10 at one point before Brady got some time and could lead the Pats back.
-The Patriots would have lost the Eagle's game if not for 2 interceptions returned for touchdowns
-The Ravens should have won the game, except for the timeout and false start and fell 2 yards short in the end anyway

2. The Patriots defense can be scored on
- They let up 27 to Dallas, 28 to Miami, 20 to Indianapolis, 28 to the Eagles, 27 to the Ravens

What do you guys think?

A few things
1. If they're susceptible to slants and running the ball, you don't think the Giants will do that all day.
2. Yeah, I just realized now that Kiwanuka was injured. (Good news is that it's a easier return to DE, he wasn't so hot as a LB)
3. Considering the Giants also have the wild card position nearly locked up, they may not play their starters.

Well, the Pats starters will not even play in a game that will be irrelevant . Brady won't play more than 2 drives. So yes, the Giants can beat them in the last game.

Not because the Giants are that great, but because even the Pats waterboy will see some action.

The way Eli's played these past couple of weeks against Minnesota and Chicago, absolutely not. While a great QB he is, he forces passes like you wouldn't believe. When you've got Asante Samuel and Richard Seymour lurching in the secondary, Eli better start focusing on simply dumping the ball off and picking up slight gains. If the Giants go for the home run ball every play, they would give up more points in essence than they did to the Vikings! Putting pressure alone wouldn't help the Giants though.

New England 38 - NY Giants 23

Dallas 2nd best offense.

Miami they pulled their starting defense in the 3rd quarter.

Eagles Just couldn't cover the slant.

Ravens W.M. tore them up.

No. Because you guys have the wrong Manning. You guys went out of your way to draft a last name and got one of the most overrated-over valued mediocre QB's in the NFL over the last 15-20 years. Giants are not on New Englands page-and no, I'm not a New England fan-I just really don't like Eli "I won't Play In San Diego Because I'm THAT GOOD" Manning. And no, I'm not a San Diego fan either.

No the giants cannot beat them.Little Elies older brother couldnt do it what makes you think the kid with less than half the talent can.If the pats get defeated before facing the giants and they play thier third stringers they may be able to keep it close but still not beat them.

I think they can but your dad made one mistake and it's that Mathias Kiwanuka is done for the year. He was injured a couple of weeks ago.

i dont think of they win whether it will be on the factor of whoever pronounced pats might win by using 30, do you so somewhat overlook week 17 while Belichick replace into on the factor of pushing aside his starters reason the Giants have been triumphing by using 12? (if that they had long gone yet another TD up, i wager he might of pulled them).

I don't think they have a good chance. The best chance there is now for any team to beat the Patriots would have to be the Steelers.
