Trust me Jess, it changes weekly. I like and respect McCain mostly because of his service to his country. I know people can change their mind on an issue or a vote they've made, but McCain has the record for changing his mind on illegal immigration. It's something different every time I hear him speak. So, I'm not sure what it is this week.

Remember McCain is a senator from Arizona a border state, he does support guest worker programs and providing current guest workers a path to citizenship.

McCain has one of the strongest records on supporting immigration and amnesty.

you can't trust McCain on illegal immigration.

He was for "AMNESTY" until the bill was defeated.
He insulted the workers of the USA by saying they were not able to work in the fields like the illegals can do.

BUT RECENTLY--he said he was against illegal immigration.---funny how a few million calls to his office on the day of the "AMNESTY" bills defeat changed his mind--

Other than that--I like his foreign policy --and especially his stand on OUR NEED TO WIN IN IRAQ!

Amnesty for the whole country of Mexico. That would include all the illegal aliens that are here now and the rest of Mexico that wants to be in the U.S.

He is probably for Amnesty, but he did say he learned his lesson, and now realizes that we wont the border secured before making any decisions... in other words like the rest of the politicians he chooses to dodge the issue.

I believe he has changed his opinion regarding this issue. In the beginning he was with Giuliani regarding giving them amnesty and allowing them to live and work in the USA. However, it seems like he's now convinced of Ron Paul's view regarding this issue.

After all, it seems that Ron Paul's points of view usually prevail in the end.

McCain wants to welcome in the illegal aliens and their families. Give them anythng they need and want. He also wants to make them welcome to speak only Spanish. No fence. Just a big "Welcome" sign!
