What a cute avatar!!!! and Happy holidays to you!
I have never left my childhood !!!!!
I live my life everyday with wonder and enthusiasm. I still see the beauty in everything and stop at ALL the flowers to smell their wondrous aroma. I still run through the sprinklers and try to blow the biggest bubble with my gum. I smile at others delights and marvel at their achievements. I love with all my heart and laugh everyday. I give everyone I know HUGS, without worrying, and still play hide and go seek. And I still can spend and hour looking up in the sky to see what I can see in the clouds. Every rain drop still tastes like candy.
When I lose or forget all these beautiful things that make me, I will be not of this world anymore

Yes, without a doubt. I would like to relive my childhood up till the age of about 16! Had the best summer hols with my parents in Devon, loved school, loved the music and I would get to spend 3 terrific years with my first love all over again! I was at my happiest as a child/teen before the world of reality t.v and mortgages. Bliss 70's child and 80's teen and I feel so lucky.

Not the entire thing.
Maybe certain days that I did not fully appreciate at the time.
You know how sometimes you smell a certain smell, or hear a certain song or taste a certain taste that brings you back for a minute?
Sometimes I wish that I could just for a day be 8 years old, and it was one of those regular July days, and summer seemed a million years long and I had no responsibilities except what I was going to do in the next hour.
I had no money worries, did not really like boys yet, body image was of no concern and simply felt free.........
You know?????

No my childhood was much too hard and complicated. I wouldnt want to relive being poor, barely having enough money to eat, stealing my neighbors milk bottles to sell, constantly moving , my parents fighting and getting a divorce.

No.
I went through it once and once was bad enough.
Sure there is some attraction to being younger and being with younger people but the fact is been there and done that and don't want to have to do it all over again, like I still would.
Some things were just stupid. If I knew then what I know now then who knows what I would have done differently.
My answer is no.

I'm reliving it now...
And it sure feels great to revisit the past and get it right, for the second time around...

I long to see & be with my Mother again.
Live childhood over again, I think not.
If not for Mother I would nener have made it to adulthood.
I don't want to reminise beyond that.
I trust Jesus that we will be together again some day. ~~~

Yeh, I do. I miss the days of yore when mom verbally abused me because of her mental disorder, my dad running the household like a drill sargeant.....and have to wear perms!!!!!!! Thanks for me reliving that memory!
