That would have no effect on the motor, but it might effect your cooling, better have your radiator cleaned and flushed.

I wouldn't know my suggestion though would be to go and get the whole cooling system flushed and filled up with fresh antifreeze which would take care of any 2 cycle oil in the coolant but about doing any damage to the engine I'm not sure. You don't use 2 cycle for your cars engine oil do you? I really hope not if you do you may be looking at a new engine. I don't really know I'm probably wrong but its possible. Like when your poured 2 cycle into the radiator you should have had it towed to a shop and flushed out before the coolant went into the car there's no telling what could have happened. All I can say is good luck I hope it doesn't get to expensive.

The oil in the cooling system isn't going to immediately do anything other than make a mess. Drain the coolant and flush out the system, then add new coolant. You should have done that right away, when you realized your mistake.

The hesitation is likely something else. Did you run the engine out of oil?

Is this a car or is it a smaller motor. In a car it would not affect it that way but I wouldn't leave it in there for very long.
