On the final test of the semester, I always like to play around with my Math instructors and replace -1's with e^(i*pi). Don't screw yourself up, though.

well this is really easy if u think about it but here is the riddle:
So three guys go into a hotel and get one room it cost 25 dollars but the man at the desk charges them 30 so each man pays 10 dollars the guys go up to there room and after a while the man at the desk feels bad and tells the bellhop to take the 5 dollars up to them. the bellhop gets close to the guys room and wonders how am i gunna split 5 dollar bills among 3 men so he keeps 2 and gives them each 1 dollar. If the men each pay 10 which is 30 together then they each get 1 dollar back thats 9 dollars a piece times 3 for 27 dollars in all and the bellhop kept 2 dollars so 27 plus 2 is 29 so where is the other dollar?
SOlution
The next day 2 men come in and buy a room and he again charges them 30 instead of 25 later feeling bad sends five up with the bellhop the bellhop thinks again i can't split it evenly so he keeps 3 and gives each a dollar so in the first place they each played 15 for 30 dollars in all then they each got a dollar back for 14 each so its 28 dollars and the bellhop kept 3 so 28 plus 3 is 31
there is the 3 mens dollar from the day before
REAL SOLUTION u aren't supposed to be adding the money the bell hop took but subtracting it (27-2 is 25) (28-3 is 25)

It's simple, but everyone always falls for this one... Take a piece of paper (8 1/2 X 11) put a dot at top of the paper and a dot at the bottom, then ask for the shortest distance between two points.
The usual answer is "a straight line" (because in 2 dimensional world it is). But you now take the paper and fold it where the two dots meet and puncture the dots and the paper with a pen.
Then say how the shortest distance is actually a hole. This is a used as a demonstration to explain how wormholes function in a curved space scenario in astronomy. The theory being that if enough energy is available space can be curved to travel large distances by bending space and making distances between two points shorter.
This is all theoretical but still interesting.

I'm in eighth grade too, and I've experimented with a few puzzling questions too. Here's one that really stumped my teacher.
- How come when you stand up side down for a long enough period of time, your sight flips so that when you are truly looking at something upside down, it appears right side up?
I'm not sure if this is of any help, but good luck!

Ask your instructor for any a threat better credit whenever you may. working example, as quickly as whilst my type had to benefit and assessment 2 diverse biomes (or despite...I forgot. It became into final year), I asked if we could get better credit and my instructor pronounced that if we in comparison and contrasted one biome with the different ones, then he'd provide better credit. somewhat too lots for added credit, yet, hello. If i wanted it, i could have completed it. in the event that they say you haven't any longer any wish, then settle for it, and do as properly as you may in the subsequent 2 marking era. attempt to no longer procastinate too lots if that's what you do. (don't experience undesirable while you're, by means of fact i'm an entire procastinator ~> i do no longer start up homework, on a classic day, until 9PM...and that i'm in severe college, with a ton of HW)

Does gravity propagate (travel) at the speed of light (as the graviton theory suggests)? or is it instantaneous, as it would be for warping space/time?
or:
a=b =/= 0
a^2 = ab
a^2 - b^2 = ab - b^2
(a+b)(a-b) = b(a-b)
(a+b) = b
b+b = b
2b =b
2 = 1
have her find the error in that. (it's going from the 4th to the 5th line: you're dividing by (a-b) which equals zero, and you can't divide by zero).

Ask what goes into the krebs cycle and how much CO2 is given off by one run of it.
Two molecules of CO2 are given off and acetyl coenzyme A is what the initial molecule is.
