When i buy a GPS for my car, what should i look for and wat price is reasonalbe?

They are all technically the same... Reasonable is around 250-400

You can get GPS units for you car as low as $100 up to Thousands! Some quick things to consider: Do you want to be able to move it from car to car, or even carry it with you if you go walking in town? Being truly portable is a BIG plus and you can get a good portable one in the $300 range. Also do you want it to talk to you and what do you want it to say!! Some will say --"Turn right next street", but if it has Text-to-speech capability it will say "turn right on 42nd Street" -- this is a huge plus in an area with lots of streets close together.

One important feature is how often they upgrade the software and maps. I have a good unit, but the company hasn't updated the maps since I have owned it. Garmin has been around for a long time and I have heard that they have a quality product.

Garmin StreetPilot c330 was recommended to us & that's what we bought.Happy with it, so far. Around $300.
