i get that sometimes when i go to donate blood to my local blood bank....let me explain that this happens when some blood gets under the skin while the process of drawing blood is done...you have nothing to worry about just put some warm compresses on it to help the blood around it circulate and break down the blood there...

it will go away in a few days...

It's very normal. I had a blood test done a month ago and had a bruise too. Every other time I;ve had blood work done I've gotten bruises. What causes it is slight bleeding going on under the skin at the time of injury.

I've had this a few times when they jabbed the needle in without hitting the vein. Normal.

Blood went out from the vein into the skin: nothing bad, it happens sometimes, don't worry

Normal maybe, but not right. They either blasted through you vein, or you didn't apply pressure long enough after needle removal. Massage it everyday, will disappear faster.
