I was born and lived in Manchester for more than half my life
I now live in Massachusetts, for the most part people understand me fine.(I still have a very strong accent)
My brother's wife is from liverpool and they live in liverpool, my american friends have a harder time understanding them .

I each so often have challenge, exceedingly if that's a very thick accessory. yet normally i'm able to comprehend the British accessory without challenge, it has gotten much less complicated however after residing right here for enormously much 2 yrs.

I can.. I have a customer that comes into my tearoom all the time he's from Manchester, I understand him perfectly fine until he asked me if I was ever going to put bubble and squeak on the lunch menu...

they have more of an irish/scottish flare when they speak. not much like the london accent. thats what i think. i watch alot of BBC. but i can understand them just fine..sometimes.

I can understand my friend in Manchester when he is sober but if he is drunk I can't. He has a very sexy voice.
