I was born and lived in Manchester for more than half my life
I now live in Massachusetts, for the most part people understand me fine.(I still have a very strong accent)
My brother's wife is from liverpool and they live in liverpool, my american friends have a harder time understanding them .

I can understand my friend in Manchester when he is sober but if he is drunk I can't. He has a very sexy voice.
