My horse when she sees me with the halter she runs away and wont let me close to her with it.If i dont have it she is always beside me.If anyone has anything i can do to get her to come to me please tell me.

My mare, didnt come to me at first. I got her about 3 months ago. But now there is a bond and she comes straight to me. I use pepperments, carrots, and apples, as a hook to get any horse to come to me. This should work. Also putting the lead over the horses kneck should, make them stay even though its not gareenteed. Horses also respond to a 'clucking' sound as well as a 'kissing' sound. Also saying stuff like "good girl" or "good boy" when you catch a horse helps, and well as praise with treats! I hope all works out, any other questions ask.!

LOL, my best friend and I used to loop the headstall over the top of our heads and loop the lead rope either up and over a shoulder or around the waist. letting them hang down our backs. We would walk up to the horses with a carrot or a handful of grass and catch them most every time.

My sister uses a small bucket of oats (2 cups worth in it), a handful of apple slices, or a molasses mash. Horses love all three of those.

i try to hide it i wrap the rope around my neck ( not so it will choke) and hook the halter on my cell phone case then it just hangs

i think treats are best. i used to go out every day and whistle and have a carrot, apple, piece of bread, or something and it didn't take very long, before he would come when he saw me. then start to spread out the treats. worked for me.

Wear a larger shirt and put it under it so that it is hard to recognize it. and grab her around the neck and rub her and slowly take it out and put it on.
