I do believe in Christmas, almost as much as I love it. I love Christmas because it is a time to spend with the family and friends. You feel all warm inside even though it may be snowing outside. I just believe that it is a great way to get together with loved ones and have some treats that most of us don't eat during the eat. Not just because they are fattening, and the increasing rate of obesity in America, which would increase these rates. Though usually the cookies are in shapes of Santas and snowmen. It also take really long to prepare for Christmas, but it is still my favorite Holiday. So that in itself is a miracle, to spend time with loved ones, and stop obesity in America.

Every day of life can be viewed as a gift and a miracle. What were the odds that you - yes, YOU - would come into being and have your sensibility and personality? It's a wonder, the whole thing. My Dad came within a whisper of being killed by bullets in war, and could have bled to death or just lapsed into coma and died. He lived and I am here. That's a miracle, as I see it. And the fact that my mom loved my dad and I am the blend that I am... that's mind-boggling. Not just for me -- who am i? -- but all of us. Follow the chain of events back far enough, and realise that, for a hair's breadth difference, you wouldn't be here to see any of this.

I believe that miracles happen around us everyday. I suppose Christmas miracles could happen and hope many peoples dreams and needs come true this Christmas.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Definitely not. It's just part of the packaging so we'll all regress to our warm and fuzzy childhood when our biggest concern during the season was whether that big fat man could fit in our chimney, and how many of those wonderful toys in his big fat bag were for ME ME ME.

Years later when we're bombarded with Xmas crap and carols (somebody ought to push the MUTE button), we need to be part of the crowd (the herd instinct) and feel those warm fuzzies again.

Of course, part of the routine is parting with hard-earned cash to buy overpriced junk which we desperately hope is exactly what the recipient has always wanted.

I could go on and on, but first I have to vomit.

No...I'm Jewish first of all...Second I believe we create our own miracles...A life left to chance (the christian concept of a miracle) you will get you god only knows what...If you instead you do the foot work to get what you need you will probably get it.
