My first vinyl record was the original Mickey Mouse Club Hits....my favorites were Cubby and Karen and Annette...I loved Spin and Marty. Of course, this was back in the 1970's when I thought that everything that happened before me happened in black and white. I had to share this record with my sister so.....

My own personal first was Shaun Cassidy's self-titled album. God, I listened to that over and OVER for hours! :)

I'm not familiar with 8 tracks, but I remember my aunt had one. I think she had Fleetwood Mac, but I'm not sure.

Thanks for bringing back such great memories!!

Right now, around 600 cd's. I have sold/traded at least that many more over the years. I have a special section of out of print cd's that go for more than the typical cd's (mostly 80's hair metal stuff) Now, just because someone is asking $200 for a cd on Ebay, that doesn't really mean that's what you will get for it. Back when Bo Bice did In a Dream by Badlands on American Idol, that particular cd by Badlands, Voodoo Highway went up to around $100 a pop. Once things settled back down, it went back to the $20 range. It's rare, being that it probably sold 250,000 copies when it was released, it's still not THAT rare. It's just that you have to find it used to get it. It's all about demand. But I don't download music and I will be sad when the physical CD becomes obsolete and a thing of the past.My most valuble cd's are some of the Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs 24k Gold Discs that are quite hard to find nowadays and normally sell for at least $40+ depending on the artist. I recently sold a 24k version of Tommy by The Who for $50 on Ebay in Mint condition. Good Luck.

LP "The Four Tops Live" in 1965.

Never owned an 8 Track, just waited for cassettes and rock radio wasn't boring then.
