Hey Matt,
When I was 5 years old on xmas eve. I was so excited about santa coming that I couldn't sleep. I went in to the kitchen and mum promptly said if you don't go to sleep santa won't come. I looked out the kitchen window and amongst the stars, I saw a little sleigh with reindeer pulling it with santa holding the reins, they were making a 's' but horisontal in the night sky. With a small gold trail in their wake. I ran to bed and went to sleep, so I didn't miss out.

I have experienced clairvoyance in my life at times. May be that had something to do with what I saw - many childrens beliefs manifesting..?

I hope this gives you some insight.

there was a person similar to him back in the past, with the name saint nick, i believe. however, many people do the same as him today- bring presents and such for those who deserve something or other on christmas. i would say he does exist, in many forms whether it be your parents, your grandparents or some random man or women on the street. he is all around us, so I personally find it hard to classify one specific person as santa claus.

Santa Claus was based on a real historic person, so in this sense, yes he was real. Saint Nicholas of Myra is the primary inspiration for the Christian figure of Santa Claus. He was a 4th century Christian bishop of Myra in Lycia, a province of the Byzantine Anatolia, now in Turkey. Nicholas was famous for his generous gifts to the poor, in particular presenting the three impoverished daughters of a pious Christian with dowries so that they would not have to become prostitutes. He was very religious from an early age and devoted his life entirely to Christianity.

Santa Claus is real because he was already declared a saint. Therefore, if he is a saint, he can perform miracles such as giving gifts to a mass number of good children
