Tough question. I do a lot of things which give me pleasure, such as nurturing a 94-year-old blind-deaf woman who is more active than anyone else I know, except myself. The only thing about her that drives me crazy is the fact that occasionally she beats me in Scrabble!

There are daily incidents in which I respond to people's soft cries for help, and I'm awfully lucky to be able to give my time and attention to their problems.

For want of a better word, I'm proud of many things in my past and present, but also ashamed of some others. I can't honestly say what was the Best. But my boyfriend can.

Last Sunday, on his return from a one day trip, there was a candle-lit dinner awaiting him, along with a bottle of his favorite bourbon (chilled), a couple of personal gifts, and a huge sign across the driveway: WELCOME BACK.

Four nights later and he's still a-quiver.

I have done lot's but the one that gave me the most pleasure was around last Christmas.

There was a 9 year old boy that my middle daughter has gone to school with since Kindergarten. He was handicapped, I really don't know what he had but he was in a wheel chair and weighed 22lbs.

He LOVED racing but could never go to see a race--we have local stock car raceing. All he wanted was to see a real race car, so we called some of our friends and they brought their race cars to the school so he could see them up close.

OMG-you should have seen his face, he loved it and the drivers gave him their racing shirts, stickers, ect.

Sadly he passed away a couple months ago, his grandparents told us after his death, that we made his day that day and that is something he talked about about. They thanked us for being so kind and they were thankful we were in his life--but we thanked them for letting little Ryan be in our life.

Edit:Funny, only one person doesn't have a thunbs down---gezzzz, some people need a real life.

Switched from addidas soccer cleats to pumas. No blisters!

No, Lol, j/k. (I was joking about that with my coachs the other day, the head coach loves addidas and the asst. coach loves pumas. They really don't blister though!)

I volunteer at a Dog and Cat adoption center on the weekends, Where I play with and exersize animals as well as speak to potential clients who are looking at adopting. I also work with the Invisible children organization to help kids in Africa that are starving and dying because of the war. They are being drafted as soldiers at ages as young as 5! (I suggest you check out the website sometime- the movie is so sad it will make you cry!) Anyways, I donate and do a lot of fundraising work for them. I also sponsor a kid in Africa whose parents have Aids and cannot care for him. His name is Thapelo, and he is adorable! I send the money, and he sends letters and pictures that he has drawn himself. He is just beginning to learn english, and doing very well. I am glad that my money has helped him to do that. I understand that I am fortunate and am glad to be able to help others. I only hope other will begin to become so enlightened.
