Hey its not just the conservatives its every damned politician who ever set foot in congress or parliament anywhere on the face of the earth. Thats the name of the game, you say one thing and do exactly the opposite, thats just the way it is.
The name conservative actually is a misnomer in of itself because the very word conjurs up images of greeny save the planet, kind of stuff, the word conservation comes to mind (all be it subliminally) and in a way the neocons and conservatives are staying true to the meaning of the word only they have corrupted it to mean conserving their own profit margins from war mongering, and as for the dems wanting to control your tax dollars and redistribute it where they see fit, that is the job of governments my friend, thats what they do!!!! only the republiucans have used billions to set up Stalin style camps, illegal wiretaps, militarised police departments and direct energy weapons for use on dissenting protesters, because the people will not go down without a fight!!! And no governments dont contribute to the economy, they tax your a s s, any which way they can........ thats their job.

Conservatives will never win that prize because they have a problem with giving up US soverignty to global concerns. The slightest hint of nationalistic sentiment by Americans is an automatic disqualification for the award. Carter Gore Wilson 0'bama Yasser Arafat Considering THAT company, I would think it a greater honor to NOT win the award.

Because most of them don't believe what they're saying. They want YOU to conform to their ways while they go nuts. These people have their image of America as long as it doesn't affect them. They oppose gay marriage until someone in their family turns out to be gay. They love the war until they're asked to sign up to go die for our "freedom". They want less taxes but expect their social security check to arrive on time. They less govt. control except when it comes to gays wanting to get married or woman wanting to maintain her reproductive rights.
These people want everyone to fall in line so they don't have to. Look at how many Cons will defend their fellow cons for corruption and sexual crimes, yet blast Clinton because he got a consensual bj from a willing participant who happened to be of age. These people feel that if you say something enough, you won't have to back it with actions. Why do you think so many Cons cover their vehicles in pro-war and anti-liberal bumper stickers? It's so they can sleep at night after avoiding military service and being the same person they despise. Reality has a liberal bias and they know it.
