The Pembroke Welsh Corgi
It's a dog, and it's very family-oriented. I grew-up with two of them: Buster and Corky. I love them.
They can be active and run around.
They could also just chill at home and be a lap dog.
The Queen of England has several of them, maybe you've seen them; they look like little 20 pound baby foxes--but they don't have tails! Just a little nub that wiggles and waves around when they bark.
The Corgi is a very intelligent dog and when you run it barks at your heels. They do this because it is their instinct to herd like some Corgis do with herds of sheep and other herded animals in Europe. They herd the kids in your family when they run-around in the yard! Haha.
Corgis are very loving, their coats are soft & smooth, and you'll be amazed at how brilliant they are. I heard a story about how a husband was watching TV while his wife called him to the dinner table. Then the little Corgi came-into the room and pulled on his pant leg and nudged the man's leg to leave the room and get to dinner.
Small dogs also live a few years longer than most larger dogs, and those precious years spent with your dog are something to be cherished.
Good luck to you!
Justin

Maxim did an article on this, for guys, the best one was a bush-baby (a little monkey), the second best was a big albino python. Their criteria was the number and type of women that it attracted when the guy took it out in a park.
But I kind of like dogs myself, unconditional love, they never seem to be cranky, always up for a game and playing around and they are good to have around if you get into a fight.

honey it all depends on where you live and how much you have. you cant just get a any animal. you have to make sure you have all the things you need make sure you have enough time to take care of what ever the animal it is. but now if you live in a regally size house a dog or cat would be perfect if you live in a apartment that allows animals a fish or any caged animal would do. rabbits, Ginnie pigs, hamsters etc, hope that helps!

It depends on your lifestyle as to what pets you have. If you spend little time at home due to work commitments then a dog is not recommended but maybe a couple of budgies to keep each other company. The choice is yours.

A Bat.
Bats make great pets. They're intelligent and easy to train.
Usually the larger species of Bat makes the better pet.
